ZIM updates its Transpacific network
ΖΙΜ pleased to announce the following changes starting February 2025, with ZIM's new network from Asia to USEC & US Gulf.
ZXB service will include an exclusive call at Boston port in its rotation.
The updated service provides enhanced connectivity between Asia and the U.S. East Coast, offering faster transit times and broader coverage through the only direct call between Asia and Boston.
Service Highlights:
- Optimized Transit Times: Best-in-market transit time from Cai Mep to Charleston and Savannah.
- Comprehensive Coverage: Extensive reach from South China and Vietnam to the U.S. East
Coast.
- Unique Connectivity: Exclusive connections from South China and Vietnam to Jacksonville.
The updated New ZXB Rotation:
Singapore – Cai Mep – Haiphong – Yantian – Panama Canal – Cartagena – Charleston – Savannah –Jacksonville – New York – Boston – Suez Canal – Singapore
The port of Baltimore, initially part of this service rotation, will be serviced on their Z7S (ZIM Seven Stars), which covers SE Asia and South China as well as by ZNS (ZIM North Star), covers North China and Korea.
Z7S (ZIM Seven Stars) will add Colombo call on the back-haul leg. The updated rotation: Singapore – Laem Chabang – Yantian – Cai Mep – Singapore – Suez Canal – New York – Baltimore – Norfolk – Suez Canal – Colombo – Singapore
ZGC (ZIM Gulf Central China Express) will add Pusan call on the back-haul leg. The updated rotation:
Ningbo – Shanghai – Busan – Panama Canal – Mobile – Houston – New Orleans – Miami – Freeport – Panama Canal – Rodman – Pusan – Ningbo
They believe these upgrades will provide wider coverage and a strengthened the network to meet their customers' needs.
