As part of ZIM's strategic effort to develop and enhance its services in South America, the shipping company has announced the renewal of operations in Paraguay.. ZIM will serve the port of Asuncion via a barge service connecting to Montevideo, Uruguay and onward through ZIM's Global and regional network to all major trade routes.

ZIM operates the Asia South America East Coast (ASE) with direct connections to major ports in China, as well as an elaborate Intra-America network (CAS) connecting to destinations worldwide via thei hub in Kingston, Jamaica.

ZIM's new agency in Paraguay is open for business and serves the Paraguay market in both import and export.
