Turkish Cargo opens a new, state-of-the-art storage area

Turkish Cargo has become one of the fastest growing players in the global air cargo industry and continues its investments without decelaration. The inaugral ceremony of the new storage area which is built at the end of of runway 06/24 at Ataturk International Airport is held at 18 September, with the participation of the Turkish Airlines' Chairman of the Board Mr. Hamdi Topcu and CEO Mr. Temel Kotil. The newly built facility will play an important role in the growth of Turkish Airlines' cargo operations.
While operating to 239 destinations using the belly space of the airline's passenger aircraft, Turkish Cargo also flies scheduled cargo flights to 47 destinations across the globe with its 9 dedicated cargo aircraft. In addition, Turkish Cargo provides onward land transportation to more than 1,000 off-network points.
