TNT Express N.V. announces that Maarten Jan de Vries will join the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Executive Board, pending shareholder approval. Maarten will take over as CFO on 1 July 2014.

Maarten Jan de Vries (Dutch, born 1962) has broad international business experience and a strong background in finance. He was previously CEO of TP Vision, a joint venture between TPV and Royal Philips. Prior to this, he held various roles in Royal Philips at Group Management Committee level, including Chief Information Officer, Chief Supply Officer and divisional CFO.
