NTS delivered a 13000-teu containership to Hapag-Lloyd

The naming and delivery ceremony of the 13000 TEU container ship was held grandly in Zhoushan, Zhejiang. The company’s general manager Mr. Liu Haijin, executive deputy general manager Mr. Zhang Yuyong and godmother Ms. Brenda Hojgaard, shipowner Hapag-Lloyd’s fleet chief Mr. Richard von Berlepsch, Manager, Mr. Lutz-Michael Dyck, Senior Director, Mr. Bjorn Hojgaard, CEO of Anglo-Eastern Univan Group, Mr. Arunava Sengupta, General Manager of Anglo-Eastern Univan Group, Chartworld Shipping Company New Shipbuilding Department Manager Mr. Spyros Papandreou, Bureau Veritas Senior Vice President Alex Gregg-Smith, Bureau Veritas New Shipbuilding China Manager Christophe Vaes and other guests attended the event.

Godmother Brenda Hojgaard named the new ship "Humboldt Express" and wished it peace in future voyages and that it would bring endless wealth to the owner.

After the naming, the signing and delivery ceremony of the 3# 13000 TEU container ship was held grandly in the bridge. Mr. Zhang Yuyong, the company’s executive deputy general manager, and Mr. Richard von Berlepsch, fleet general manager of the shipowner Hapag-Lloyd, and Mr. Lutz-Michael Dyck, senior director They jointly signed the ship delivery document and the ship was officially delivered to the owner for operation.

The 13000 container container ship has a total length of 335 meters, a length between two columns of 325 meters, a molded width of 51 meters, a molded depth of 27.3 meters, a design draft of 13 meters, a structural draft of 16 meters, an overhead height (above the baseline) of less than 65 meters, and a deadweight tonnage of 139,550 tons (under structural draft). The German shipowner Hapag-Lloyd ordered two 13,000-ton container ships from our company, and this delivery is the first of them.
