MSC changes booking method for cargo from Middle East/Gulf to Asia & Oceania
The Suez Canal incident has worsened an already challenging market situation across various ports and supply chains globally. Due to equipment shortages, MSC had to temporarily adjust its booking method for all cargo from the Middle East and the Gulf (including King Abdullah Port) to Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
As an alternative to its existing booking methods, including emails and calls, MSC is asking its customers to place bookings via myMSC, its official eBusiness platform, starting from April 19, 2021.
Available anytime and from any device, myMSC enables customers to request quotes, place and manage bookings, check vessel schedules, track shipments, access documents and get live notifications – everything in one place, the release highlighted.
