Lufthansa Cargo renews CHAMP’s TRAXON cargoHUB, TRAXON CDMP
Lufthansa Cargo has renewed for CHAMP’s TRAXON cargoHUB and TRAXON CDMP solutions. The carrier has made a distinct and strong commitment to continue its partnership with CHAMP, representing a continued relationship of nearly 30 years between Lufthansa Cargo and CHAMP Cargosystems.
With a turnover of 2.5 billion euros and 8.9 billion revenue tonne-kilometers in 2019, Lufthansa Cargo is one of the world's leading companies in the transport of air freight. The carrier will continue to benefit from being a part of TRAXON cargoHUB, the largest air cargo digital interchange community.
Lufthansa Cargo will also continue to use TRAXON CDMP and gain synergies and cargo insights. This CHAMP service measures over 40% of the worldwide Cargo iQ airline shipments. Furthermore, CHAMP and Lufthansa are currently exploring enhancements in CDMP reporting and CHAMP’s Message Improvement Program Reporter (MIP). These are just some examples where both organizations are working closely together to enhance CHAMP’s products and services to bring increased value to Lufthansa and its customers.
“Lufthansa Cargo is pleased to continue to benefit from CHAMP’s industry expertise,” says Dr. Jochen Göttelmann, CIO at Lufthansa Cargo. “Our relationship to CHAMP and its technologies have brought us through to a more digitalized world. We are happy to continue leveraging its reliable solutions through the 2020s.”
“We are proud to have the trust of one of the world’s great carriers,” says Arnaud Lambert, CEO at CHAMP Cargosystems. “This renewal of a long-standing relationship represents a unique confidence in CHAMP’s technologies, expertise and services. CHAMP looks forward to playing an even greater role in the digital strategy of Lufthansa for the many years to come.”
