K+N and Destylarnia Sobieski extend their seafreight cooperation
Destylarnia Sobieski has extended the agreement with Kuehne + Nagel as its service provider. The scope of activities includes seafreight shipments of Sobieski vodka from Poland to the US, customs clearance and warehousing services.
Kuehne + Nagel and Sobieski distillery have been successfully cooperating for three years. The logistics provider is handling the export seafreight shipments from Poland to the United States, shipped as Full Container Loads (FCL). In addition, the Kuehne + Nagel offices in New York and Miami are providing value-added services such as brokerage and warehousing. Recently, this cooperation was extended for another year.
An important element of the business relationship is Kuehne + Nagel's Internet-based track & trace system KN Login which allows Destylarnia Sobieski efficient, fast and transparent monitoring and management of its complete supply chain. The software solution provides online information about all relevant shipment parameters and cargo details, documentation, customised reporting and real time status updates, thus offering the customer a tool for its forecast planning of the shipment flow. This is a good example of a ˜win-win' business situation and a real partnership, said Tobias Jerschke, President of Kuehne + Nagel Poland. Imperial Brands, Destylarnia Sobieski and Kuehne + Nagel are cooperating closely in a very target and result oriented way. We are delighted to support this developing premium vodka brand in the US with our first class logistics services.
Kuehne + Nagel has been chosen because of its logistics capabilities, worldwide experience and guaranteed high quality standards as well as its competitive pricing. With its excellent services, Kuehne + Nagel meets our high requirements regarding our export operations, said Grzegorz GÅ‚ogowski, Foreign Trade Department Manager of Destylarnia Sobieski.
