Hapag-Lloyd to hike Mediterranean-US rates

Hapag-Lloyd will increase the rates for all cargo and container types on its trade from the Mediterranean to all coasts in the U.S., with effect from June 1, 2013.

The increase will be $250 per 20-foot container and $350 per 40-foot container, reported in the shipping line release.
