Hapag-Lloyd to add Paita call to Mexico-Peru service
Hapag-Lloyd informs that starting week 32 they will introduce new call at Paita, Peru with their Mexico-Peru Service (MXP). The first call will be provided with their MV Conti Salome Voyage 1330N which is scheduled to arrive Paita on August 8, 2013.
The new Paita call will provide their Reefer customers with more possibilities to move their cargo in an efficient and faster way to Asia, Mexico and USWC. In addition it will offer one more alternative to connect cargo to Europe (Mediterranean). The service provide the best transit time to Mexico (Manzanillo) as well as very competitive transit times to Asia (Japan, Thailand, China and Korea)
The MXP service operates with 3 vessels of 2,100 TEU capacity equipped with 300 Reefer plugs and provides connectivity via Manzanillo, Mexico to and from USWC, Asia and Europe (MED). The MXP service also provides import and export service for dry cargo and other specialized equipment.
The revised port rotation will be Manzanillo " Buenaventura " Callao " Paita " Guayaquil " Manzanillo
