Hapag-Lloyd, CSAV in merger talks

According to a statement by German box line Hapag-Lloyd, it is in talks with CSAV, Latin America's biggest container shipping line, for a "possible business combination or any other form of association" that would be of mutual interest.

To date, these discussions have not resulted in any binding or non-binding agreement between the parties, it stressed.
