Hapag-Lloyd enhances Caribbean Express Service- CES

In order to strengthen and optimize the presence in the Caribbean and Central America markets to North Europe and vice versa with a continued focus on serving the Reefer segment as well as Special Cargoes hapag Lloyd is enhancing their current and weekly Caribbean Express Service (CES) with the following port rotations:

Willemstad – Oranjestad – Kingston – Santa Marta – Puerto Limon (Moin) – Caucedo – London Gateway – Rotterdam – Antwerp – Willemstad

For export cargoes as of M/V BALAO (outbound) Voyage 002S starting in London on January 5, 2020 the company will offer the new rotation in the Caribbean and Central America.

The new rotation in North Europe will start with the same voyage M/V BALAO Voyage 002N sailing from Kingston on January 22, 2020.

With these changes Hapag-Lloyd will provide you with a dedicated Reefer product with highly competitive transit times and the respective connectivity to the major markets in North Europe and the Caribbean and Central America.

Vlissingen, NL has been replaced by Antwerp, BE and Cartagena, CO has been replaced by Kingston, JM in the new pro-forma Schedule. From / to Cartagena and its connected service network you will continue to use their reliable South America West Coast Service (SWX).

With this enhanced CES product Hapag-Lloyd will be able to offer two sailings per week from the U.K. into the Caribbean and with the fastest transit time from London to Kingston, JM.

With CES calling Caucedo, DO on its northbound voyage Hapag Lloyd demonstrate their commitment to customers and this important reefer market by being the only shipping line in the market offering two direct sailings (CES and SWX) per week to North Europe.
