CSafe signs master lease agreement with DHL

DHL Global Forwarding, the air and ocean freight specialist within Deutsche Post DHL, extends its existing agreement with CSafe Global, the world's largest producer of actively controlled mobile refrigeration units for life sciences, healthcare, international disaster relief agencies. DHL Global Forwarding has renewed their master lease agreement with CSafe Global for a further three years after the success the company experienced within the first 18 months.

CSafe's EQUiP program is integrated into DHL Thermonet and part of the sales and operations staff training within our network of Certified Life Science Stations. DHL Global Forwarding launched DHL Thermonet, its new air freight product tailored to the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector, earlier this year. The global service is the newest addition to DHL's network of Certified Life Sciences and Healthcare facilities and offers customers a transparent and a regulatory compliant platform enabling them to manage their temperature-sensitive shipments of pharmaceutical products and medical devices.

CSafe Global's active solution product assortment includes the CSafe RKN, the only compressor-driven air cargo container of its kind with approvals from both the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The RKN utilizes heating and compressor-driven cooling technology to eliminate the cost and the environmental challenges associated with dry ice transportation, refrigerated trucking and internal packaging. It also allows the flexibility of uninterrupted routing of shipments without the need for special staging or dry ice handling. The CSafe RKN offers the superior performance needed for shipping products with temperature requirements between +4 degrees Celsius and +25 degrees Celsius.
