Bosch Group and Kuehne + Nagel Poland further extend their partnership
Bosch Thermotechnology is a leading international manufacturer of heating products and water heaters sold under the brand names Junkers, Bosch and Buderus. Kuehne + Nagel will be responsible for consolidating three existing warehouses in Poland and stock in Germany into one site which will be located in Piotrków Trybunalski (Central Poland). The location acts as Poland Distribution Center for finished goods and spare parts. To ensure optimum supply chain performance Kuehne + Nagel provides warehouse space tailored to the special storage needs of heating and hot water products. Synergies within the existing Kuehne + Nagel logistics campus in Piotrków will allow to better manage the high volatility of activities in the warehouse due to the seasonality of product demands of Bosch Thermotechnology. In the scope of the contract, services include picking & packing, quality inspections, management of inbound flows from suppliers, order preparation, planning, visibility and measurement tools.
Kuehne + Nagel has been supporting Bosch in Poland since 1992. The logistics provider operates Bosch's distribution center for power tools and automotive aftermarket in Wrocław and for marketing materials in Warsaw.
